I am motivated by the natural world and particularly by complex structures, functions, and spaces—whether the structure is the human body, the architectural dwellings familiar to daily living, or psychological and spiritual spaces. I’m fascinated by the space between words—both what is said and what is left unsaid—and how the subtlety of these subtexts interrelate. Equally intriguing is the space between the scientific and the spiritual—the seemingly concrete but ever evolving place of proof and where that meets with the abstract systems of energy and spirit. My work explores inevitable change, and the potentialities existing within states of Oneness—the space within space. Seeking always to find a sense of balance—both within myself and within the work, I examine how our wellbeing is related to our actions, non-actions, the health of our environment, and our connection with spirit.
